Support Us

The experiences of relocating to a new country can be so distressing. When people come to England they are often unaware of the rights and entitlements that they may have in the UK or of wider support networks that are available to help them. This can mean that they are more vulnerable to exploitation or discrimination. For our children this can result underachieving in school, being lured into gangs, drugs and crime in an attempt to fit in.

But together we can prevent this from happening. We can help a child choose a better future, women and children to rise up to reach their full potential and become contributors to the good of our society. Together we can indeed. With  so little funding  to go round we can most certainly benefit from  and would be most grateful for your contribution and support in whatever  way you can.

You can help us make a difference by making a donation, asking us for a collecting box to put in your workplace, club, or local shop, or by getting active for Zimbabwe Women’s Network, and carrying out your own fundraising!

From a parachute jump, to a coffee morning, to a dress down day or sponsored event, or by simply giving some of your valuable time by volunteering to be a trustee or help us in one of our projects.

We are always in need of additional help especially in specialist skills such as IT, Blogging, publicity and marketing and of course fundraising (bid writing), volunteers who have experience of HIV & DV and have sufficiently recovered can help  support other patients and  survivors and encourage them to continue with treatments/check-ups, help promote HIV & DV awareness events and develop peer support opportunities.
